Jakobsborn und Dorf-Fest:         Katzenfurter Ortsvereine diskutieren

Einen ungewöhnlichen Treffpunkt hatten die Vertreter der Katzenfurter Ortsvereine am letzten Wochenende: Der Jakobsborn, der schöne Brunnen im Wald. Leider sprudelt der Brunnen nicht mehr, Stützwand und Treppe sind beschädigt und die Gesamtanlage müsste aufgeräumt und gereinigt werden.

Gemeinsam war man der Ansicht, dass der Born nicht aufgegeben werden soll. Zunächst soll versucht werden, die Sohle des Brunnenschachtes zu säubern und eventuell zu vertiefen, damit sich mehr Wasser sammeln kann. Wenn die Maßnahmen Erfolg zeigen, wird die Gesamtanlage in Ordnung gebracht.

Bei der anschließenden Sitzung in der Hütte des ASV ging es während einer längeren Diskussion zunächst einmal grundsätzlich darum, ob die alte Tradition, alle zwei Jahre im Sommer ein Fest der Ortsvereine zu veranstalten, beibehalten werden soll. Die zunächst großen Feste sind in den letzten Jahren zu schlecht besuchten Wanderungen geschrumpft.

Obwohl allgemein auf die Personalprobleme der Vereine hingewiesen wurde, war man einmütig dafür, bereits in diesem Jahr einen neuen Versuch zu unternehmen. Die Angelegenheit ist nun in die einzelnen Vereins-Vorstände zur Beratung geleitet worden. In einer weiteren Sitzung am 6. Mai um 19:30 Uhr in der ASV-Hütte wurden dann „Nägel mit Köpfen“ geschmiedet.

Das Fest der Ortsvereine in Katzenfurt war lange sehr beliebt. Der Erlös kam in der Regel wohltätigen Zwecken in unserem Dorf zugute.
